Nebraska non-profit helping developmentally disabled find jobs

A non-profit organization called “Nebraska Transition College” is trying to fill a service gap young adults with autism or other developmental disablities.

The program is designed to help people who might not qualify for state services or who have joined a long waiting list for assistance in developing social, emotional and work skills to land jobs and become independent.

Classes are being held at Southeast Community College in Lincoln.
