Nebraska officials alert drivers of overnight I-80 ramp closures in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Nebraska Department of Transportation is closing a part of Interstate 80 in Lincoln for overnight roadwork.

Starting on Wednesday at 7 p.m., the eastbound I-80 on-ramp will be closed at the U.S. Highway 77 interchange in west Lincoln.

The ramp will reopen on Thursday at 6 a.m., officials said.

Starting on Thursday at 7 p.m., the westbound I-80 on-ramp at the same interchange will be closed for overnight roadwork.

Officials said the ramp will be back open Friday at 6 a.m.  Signs will be posted to alert drivers to the closures.

The Nebraska Department of Transportation reminded motorists to drive safely near work zones.
