Nebraska officials report 28 deaths in November crashes — an increase from 2022

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Nebraska Department of Transportation on Friday reported that 28 people died in crashes across the state last month.
In a press release, state officials said at least 10 of the 24 vehicle occupants killed were not wearing seat belts.

Two motorcyclists and two pedestrians were also killed in crashes.
There were 20 fatal crashes in November 2022.

From January to November this year, there were 211 people killed in crashes, a 9% decrease from 2022.
Only 46 of the 173 vehicle occupants killed in crashes were using seat belts, according to state officials.
