Nebraska sees economic growth

A monthly survey says the economy in the Midwest and Plain States took a leap forward last month.

The report released yesterday says conditions in nine states, including Nebraska saw their Business Condition Indexes jump.

Any score above 50 suggests growth, the index showed a jump from 57 in July to 61.1 in August, a good sign for the economy.
