Nebraska setter Bergen Reilly takes home fourth Big Ten weekly honor this season

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Big Ten Conference honored Nebraska’s Bergen Reilly on Monday as this week’s Setter of the Week.

Reilly was strong in the Huskers’ wins over No. 16 Minnesota and Indiana, leading the Big Red with 10.71 assists and 3.86 digs per set.

In a 3-1 win over the Golden Gophers, Reilly racked up 40 assists and career highs of 20 digs and six kills.

The sophomore all-American became the first Husker setter to record at least 40 assists, 20 digs and five kills in a match since 2001.

Reilly capped off the weekend with 35 assists and seven digs in a sweep of Indiana, guiding the Nebraska offense to a .324% hitting percentage.

On the week, Reilly totaled 75 assists, 27 digs, eight kills, seven blocks and one ace.

This is the fourth time this season Reilly has been honored as Big Ten Setter of the Week.

Nebraska will hit the road again for a battle with Iowa at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

The Huskers will host their second bout with Wisconsin on Saturday at 7 p.m.
