Nebraska softball hosting fan day event in February

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Husker softball fans will get a chance to meet their favorite players at an event next month.
On Thursday, Nebraska softball announced a fan day event, which will be held at the Hawks Championship Center on Feb. 3.
It’s the program’s first fan day event. More information will be released at a later date.

Nebraska is opening its season against Washington in the Puerto Vallarta Challenge in Mexico on Feb. 8.
The Huskers also face Duke, Long Beach State and Utah Valley in Mexico.
Nebraska — which added Oklahoma pitcher Jordy Bahl to its roster during the offseason — returns to Bowlin Stadium to play Witchita State on March 1.
