Nebraska softball ranked No. 17 in preseason poll

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska softball is starting its 2024 season as one of the nation’s top 25 teams.
ESPN and USA Softball released a preseason softball poll. The Huskers were ranked No. 17.
Nebraska and Northwestern are the only two teams representing the Big Ten.

Nebraska is opening its season against Washington in the Puerto Vallarta Challenge in Mexico on Feb. 8.
The Huskers will also face Duke, Long Beach State and Utah Valley in Mexico.
Nebraska — which added Oklahoma pitcher Jordy Bahl to its roster during the offseason — returns to Bowlin Stadium to play Wichita State on March 1.
