Nebraska State Board of Education member Jacquelyn Morrison resigns
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska State Board of Education member Jacquelyn Morrison is resigning.
Morrison’s letter of resignation is attached to the board’s agenda for Friday, Oct. 4.
The other members of the board will vote on the resignation at next week’s meeting.
There was no reason given as to why Morrison is resigning.
Morrison was elected to her seat in 2020 and represents part of Omaha.
The seat is up for election in November, and Morrison was not running for reelection.
