Nebraska State Patrol assists in online enticement investigation in Tennessee

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Nebraska State Patrol assisted in an online enticement investigation that led to the arrest of a man in Tennessee on Tuesday.
The patrol said the investigation began earlier this year when 54-year-old Dillon Summers of Cleveland, Tennessee, contacted whom he thought was a 13-year-old girl.
It wasn’t a 13-year-old girl. Instead, Summers had contacted an undercover investigator with the Nebraska State Patrol, according to authorities.
During those online conversations, the patrol said Summers discussed “sexual acts.”
Patrol investigators identified Summers and found him to be living in Bradley County, Tennessee.
He was taken into custody on Tuesday on suspicion of sexual assault by use of an electronic communication device and enticement by an electronic communication device.
Homeland Security Investigations assisted with the investigation and the Bradley County Sheriff’s Department helped with the arrest, the patrol said.
An investigation is ongoing.
