Nebraska State Patrol made 10 DUI arrests over St. Patrick’s Day weekend

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Nebraska State Patrol stopped 10 impaired drivers during an enforcement project over St. Patrick’s Day weekend.
On Monday, the patrol released the results of its anti-impaired driving campaign, which ran from Saturday night through Monday morning.
The patrol said 10 drivers were arrested on suspicion of DUI.
Troopers cited 171 drivers for speeding, 14 for driving under suspension and two for having improper child restraints. They also helped 54 travelers over the weekend.
The effort was made possible with funding from the Nebraska Department of Transportation’s Highway Safety Office.
