Nebraska State Patrol seizes 77 pounds of meth in I-80 traffic stop

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Two people were arrested Saturday after a large drug bust on Interstate 80.

A state trooper pulled over a car for speeding near York, according to the Nebraska State Patrol.

The trooper found out that the vehicle not insured, the patrol said, so authorities arranged to have it towed.

But before it was hauled away, troopers said they searched the car and found 77 pounds of meth.

The driver, 28-year-old Rosita Vizcarra, and passenger, 26-year-old Julio Garcia-Guerrero, were arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine and possession with intent to deliver. Both are from Omaha.
