LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – State troopers arrested a man and rescued a woman on Saturday after a pursuit in Madison County, the Nebraska State Patrol says.

Around 2:15 a.m., the Madison County Sheriff’s Office got a 911 call about a possible domestic incident inside of a car.  Authorities determined that the call came from a woman who was being held against her will inside of the car.

A deputy found the vehicle on county roads near Newman Grove and tried to pull it over.  The driver, 42-year-old Brandon Korth, did not pull over, and the deputy began a pursuit.

Korth drove west on 210th Street, and an NSP trooper took over in the pursuit.  The pursuit reached speeds of 30 miles per hour, according to the patrol.

After 3 miles, the trooper was able to stop the vehicle.  Authorities rescued the female passenger and took the driver into custody.

NSP arrested Korth on suspicion of false imprisonment and flight to avoid arrest.  They took him to the Antelope County Jail.
