Nebraska Task Force One headed home

After nine days of helping with hurricane relief efforts in North Carolina, Nebraska Task Force One is headed home this morning.

The task force announced they were demobilizing on their Twitter page.

44 of Nebraska’s firefighters and civilian first-responders were posted Fort Mills, North Carolina.

Where they helped in hundreds of rescue missions, including the evacuation of a nursing home, removing 24 seniors from flood waters.
