Nebraska teen dies after being ejected in crash near Grand Island

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A teen is dead after being ejected from a utility vehicle in Hall County on Sunday.

Around 1:20 a.m., deputies were sent to a home near Old Potash Highway and Monitor Road west of Grand Island.

The Hall County Sheriff’s Office said a 19-year-old woman lost control while driving a utility vehicle on the property.

The vehicle tipped over, ejecting all six occupants.

Several passengers were injured and taken to a hospital in Grand Island.

Jacqueline Torres, 18, was later pronounced dead, the sheriff’s office said.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
