Nebraska teen killed in rollover crash in rural Buffalo County

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Ravenna teen was killed Wednesday night in a rollover crash in rural Buffalo County, the sheriff’s office says.

The crash happened on a rural county gravel roadway south of Pleasanton around 8:40 p.m.

The sheriff’s office said a Ford F-150 was heading east when it left the road, entered a ditch, rolled and hit a power pole.

The driver of the vehicle, a 17-year-old boy, was ejected from the vehicle.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Three other people in the vehicle, all 15 years of age, were taken to Kearney-area hospitals.  The extent of their injuries is unknown.

An investigation is ongoing.
