LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Former Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola announced his commitment to Oregon on Monday morning.

Raiola announced his commitment in a post on Instagram.

Before an ankle injury ended his sophomore season, Raiola completed 72.4% of his passes for 2,000 yards and 18 touchdowns with six interceptions.

Prior to the injury, he led Nebraska to a 6-2 record and bowl eligibility for the second straight season.

In his freshman season, Raiola completed 67.1% of his passes for 2,819 yards and 13 touchdowns with 11 interceptions.

Raiola led Nebraska to a win over Boston College in the Pinstripe Bowl, making Nebraska’s first bowl victory since 2015.

The Buford, Georgia, native now heads to Eugene, which seems to be a launching pad for NFL quarterbacks in recent memory.

Since 2012, six of Oregon’s eight starting quarterbacks have, or will be, selected in the NFL Draft (Marcus Mariota, Justin Herbert, Tyler Shough, Bo Nix, Dillon Gabriel and Dante Moore).

Moore still has a decision to make regarding the NFL Draft, but this isn’t the first time the Ducks have sured up their line of succession with a starter still in place.

Moore transferred to Oregon in 2024 and sat behind Gabriel before making his debut.
