LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two men from North Platte were arrested Tuesday in a child exploitation investigation, the Nebraska State Patrol says.

Several authorities, including investigators with the patrol’s tech crimes unit, served a search warrant at a home near Fifth Street and Custer Avenue.

After the search, two men – 54-year-old Christopher Rader-Schmidt and 19-year-old Brandon Rader-Schmidt – were taken into custody, the patrol said.

Both men were arrested on suspicion of possessing and distributing child pornography.  They were lodged in the Lincoln County Jail.

An investigation is ongoing, according to the patrol.
