Nebraska troopers called to 100 weather-related incidents
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Nebraska State Patrol says it responded to more than 100 weather-related incidents on Wednesday.
One was a fatal crash on Interstate 80 near Lexington.
On the other side of the state, two semitrailers collided on I-80 near Gretna, with one of the semis spilling its load all over the road.
The patrol has not said whether anyone was injured in that crash or any other.
But it said some roads that have already been cleared might refreeze overnight.
If you get stuck on highways or interstates, you can call the patrol’s Highway Helpline at *55.
As of 11 p.m., the Lincoln Police Department had been called to 39 crashes.
