Nebraska volleyball focused on Northwestern despite looming Wisconsin game
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska volleyball is facing No. 1 Wisconsin at the Bob Devaney Center on Saturday.
But John Cook said the Huskers are focused on their road matchup against Northwestern on Wednesday.
“We got our hands full right now,’ he said at a Tuesday press conference. “We’re not worried about what’s happening this weekend.”
Nebraska won both of last year’s games against the Wildcats, one of which went to five sets.
But Cook thinks the two “surprise teams” in the Big Ten are Northwestern and Indiana, which the Huskers defeated last month.
“That’s our focus,” he said. “We’re not getting caught up in anything else, and that’s how we roll.”
Nebraska and Wisconsin are currently both undefeated.
The Badgers are facing Ohio State before Saturday’s match in Lincoln.
