Nebraska volleyball’s Andi Jackson named Big Ten Freshman of the Week

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska’s Andi Jackson has earned a weekly Big Ten award for her performance in wins against Northwestern and Illinois.

The conference announced Monday that Jackson is the Big Ten Co-Freshman of the Week.

She is sharing the award with Purdue’s Chloe Chicoine.

Jackson is the third Nebraska freshman to get the award, joining Harper Murray and Bergen Reilly.

In the two wins last week, the Colorado native averaged 2.13 kills and 1.13 blocks per set with a .714% hitting percentage.
