Nebraska volleyball’s Harper Murray accused of DUI

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A star Husker volleyball player has been ticketed on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Harper Murray, 19, was pulled over about 12:45 a.m. Friday near Vine Street and Antelope Valley Parkway, according to the Lincoln Police Department.

Police said she was breaking multiple traffic laws.

Officers conducted a breath test, which found that she had a blood alcohol content of 0.169%, police said. That’s double the legal limit in Nebraska.

Murray also had a fake ID, according to LPD, and did not follow officers’ commands.

She was cited and released on five charges: DUI with a BAC over .15%, careless driving, minor in possession, fictitious license and obstructing a peace officer.
