Nebraska volleyball’s Harper Murray: ‘I am eager to move forward with my life’

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Husker volleyball star Harper Murray said Wednesday that she is focused on her mental health after her offseason legal troubles.
“Now that necessary legal procedures have run its course, I am eager to move forward with my life,” she said on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.
Murray, who was sentenced for DUI this week and is in a diversion program for shoplifting, apologized to Husker fans for her mistakes.

She said “no one is more disappointed” than her.
“That is why, over the past couple of months, my main focus has been my mental health and making a dedicated commitment to healing and growing,” she said.
Murray, who will be a sophomore outside hitter this season, said she hopes her story normalizes the discussion of mental health.
