Nebraska volleyball’s Jaylen Reyes promoted to Associate Head Coach

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – After eight seasons with Nebraska volleyball, Jaylen Reyes has been promoted to Associate Head Coach.

Head coach Dani Busboom Kelly took to social media to express her excitement about the promotion.

Reyes has been a key part of the team’s coaching staff and culture since he arrived in 2018.
The Huskers have been to the NCAA Championship match three times and won Big Ten titles in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
Since 2018, Nebraska has ranked in the top 10 nationally in defense seven times, including the No. 1 opponent hitting percentage in 2022, 2023 and 2025.
Reyes’s new contract is a three-year, $630,000 deal to remain with the Huskers.
His annual salary starts at $200,000 and increases by $10,000 each year.
