Nebraska woman arrested after pursuit near Norfolk

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A woman was arrested Thursday after a pursuit by the Nebraska State Patrol.

Tiffany Robinson, 28, of Plainview was arrested in Madison County after troopers say she led them on a chase near Norfolk.

At about 1:15 p.m., a trooper with the Nebraska State Patrol tried to pull over an Infiniti G35 for speeding on Highway 81.

Robinson refused to yield and instead sped north, according to the patrol.

After a few miles, Robinson turned east onto East Sherwood Road in Norfolk. She accelerated to more than 120 mph, the patrol said.

A few miles later, Robinson lost control of her vehicle and crashed into a ditch.

The patrol said she tried to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended by the trooper.

Robinson was medically cleared at Faith Regional Hospital and lodged in the Madison County Jail.

She was arrested on suspicion of willful reckless driving, flight to avoid arrest, driving during revocation, obstructing a peace officer, possession of drug paraphernalia, traffic violations and on outstanding warrants.
