Nebraska women’s basketball moves to No. 20 in AP poll ahead of USC matchup

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska women’s basketball moved up in the AP poll on Monday ahead of its ranked matchup with USC next week.

The Huskers, who defeated Cal Baptist 87-56 at home on Sunday, are now ranked No. 20 in the poll.  Nebraska has been ranked for three straight weeks.

With the win over Cal Baptist, Nebraska remains undefeated ahead of its conference slate, which begins on Dec. 29 against No. 17 USC at home.

The Huskers matched their second-best start in program history with a 12-0 record after Sunday’s win.

Nebraska has picked up wins over Creighton, Virginia and Penn State so far this season.

The Huskers’ offense has scored at least 80 points in each of their wins.
