Nebraska women’s basketball picks up first ranked win of the season
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska women’s basketball took down No. 20 Michigan State 85-80 at home on Wednesday.
The Huskers were 0-3 against ranked teams this season before taking down the Spartans.

Alexis Markowski went off for a career-high 28 points.
After a slow 15-point start in the first quarter, the Husker offense exploded for a 28-point second period.
Nebraska’s 42 second-half points were just enough to hang on for the 5-point win.

With the victory, Nebraska moves to 12-4 on the season.
The Huskers will hit the road the next two games against Rutgers on Sunday and Iowa on Jan. 16.
