Nebraska’s Brice Williams wins Big Ten Player of the Week

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Big Ten Conference on Monday honored Brice Williams as the Big Ten Player of the Week.


The 6-foot-7 senior led the Huskers to wins over No. 18 Illinois and No. 16 Oregon to overcome a six-game losing streak.

Throughout that stretch, Williams averaged 27.5 points, seven and a half rebounds and five assists per game.

In an 80-74 overtime win over Illinois, Williams scored 27 points, including eight of Nebraska’s 10 points in overtime.

This is Williams’ second player of the week honor this season, last bringing it home on Dec. 16.
