NFL DRAFT: New York Giants select Nebraska’s Thomas Fidone II in seventh round
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Former Husker Tight End officially has his eyes set on the big apple, getting selected by the New York Giants with the 219th overall pick.
Thomas Fidone II was the 13th tight end selected in the 2025 NFL Draft. There were 16 total.
The Council Bluffs native finished his final season at Nebraska with 373 receiving yards, and hauling in four touchdowns.
The 6-foot-6, 255 pounder was awarded All-Academic Big Ten for three seasons at Nebraska.
He joins Ty Robinson as the only other Husker to get drafted in 2025.
