Lori Jenkins, Nikko Jenkins’ mom, was sentenced Tuesday to ten years in federal prison for her role in his crime spree last summer.
She bought the ammunition that was ultimately used in his killing spree. He murdered four people. Her lawyer spoke out.
“Disappointed, yes,” Don Schense, her defense attorney said. “But she also expressed to me the remorse she had for the victims and their families.”
The defense argued prosecutors couldn’t prove she actually gave the ammo to Nikko. Her attorney plans to appeal to the 8th Circuit Court in St. Louis by next week.
