No. 1 Nebraska outlasts No. 18 Creighton in front of record-setting crowd

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — No. 1 Nebraska volleyball took down its in-state rival on Tuesday, defeating No. 18 Creighton in front of a record-setting crowd.
The Huskers won 25-17, 21-25, 25-18, 24-26, 15-9 at the CHI Health Center in Omaha.
The match set an indoor volleyball attendance record, with 17,675 fans in the stands.
The momentum swung back and forth throughout the match, with neither team gaining the upper hand for long.
Nebraska pulled away in the fifth set after two 4-0 scoring runs.
Harper Murray led the Huskers with 17 kills. Virginia Adriano and Andi Jackson each had 13 kills, followed by Taylor Landfair with 12.
Four Huskers also finished in double digits in digs: Bergen Reilly with 19, Olivia Mauch with 14, Laney Choboy with 12 and Murray with 10.
NU improves to 9-0, while CU falls to 5-5.
Next up, Nebraska hosts Arizona at 8 p.m. Saturday. The game will air on the Big Ten Network.
