No. 1 Nebraska sweeps 6th-straight match, takes down No. 15 Indiana on road

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – No. 1 Nebraska swept its way past No. 15 Indiana 25-15, 25-19, 25-19 Thursday night at a sold-out Wilkinson Hall, recording its sixth-straight sweep and winning a 47th-consecutive regular season match.

Harper Murray led the way for the Huskers (16-0, 5-0 Big Ten), recording 11 kills alongside seven digs and two blocks. Teraya Sigler contributed 10 kills.

Back-to-back Big Ten player of the week Andi Jackson hit .471 to go along with nine terminations, while Manaia Ogbechie – who was added to the AVCA player of the year watch list on Thursday – hit .500 with eight kills and a team-high six blocks.

Indiana (10-4, 3-2 Big Ten) recorded a hitting percentage of .282.

Nebraska has now won 23 straight matches on the road or in neutral site locations. Next up, the Huskers welcome in No. 7 Wisconsin Saturday night at the Devaney Center. First serve will be at 6 p.m.
