No. 1 Nebraska volleyball sweeps Lipscomb

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — No. 1 Nebraska volleyball made quick work of Lipscomb in Nashville on Friday.

The Huskers swept the Bisons 25-13, 25-21, 25-15.

Nebraska finished with a .315% overall hitting percentage, compared with only .043% for Lipscomb.

NU quickly gained the upper hand in the first two sets, but the Bisons briefly put up a fight in the third, tying it twice.

The Huskers scored five straight points to get the Bisons off their backs, then cruised to a win.

Taylor Landfair and Harper Murray led Nebraska with seven kills apiece.

Laney Choboy finished with 12 digs.

The Huskers (3-0) will face No. 7 Kentucky (1-0) on Sunday.
