No. 1 Nebraska volleyball thumps Illinois, extends sweep-streak to 14

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The No. 1-ranked Nebraska volleyball team completed its 14th straight sweep on Thursday, beating Illinois 3-0.
The Huskers won 25-11, 25-15, 25-14 at the Bob Devaney Center.
As a team, Nebraska had a .488% hitting percentage, while the Fighting Illini had a .095% hitting percentage.
Andi Jackson flawlessly led the Huskers with nine kills on nine total attacks, while also racking up four blocks.
Virginia Adriano and Harper Murray followed close behind with eight kills apiece, while Teraya Sigler posted six kills.
Bergen Reilly led the team in assists with 29, while Laney Choboy racked up a team-high 20 digs.
The Huskers will return to action on Saturday, heading to Minneapolis to take on the Gophers.
