No. 2 Husker volleyball again defeats Michigan State in four sets

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — No. 2 Nebraska volleyball outlasted Michigan State on Friday to maintain its perfect record.

The Huskers dropped the third set but bounced back to win 25-12, 25-19, 22-25, 25-15 at home.

It was the same result from a week earlier, when Nebraska defeated Michigan State 3-1 on the road.

Nebraska hit at .302% on Friday night, compared with .097% for the Spartans.

Merritt Beason and Andi Jackson each had 13 kills to lead the Huskers.

Reilly Bergen and Lexi Rodriguez recorded 16 digs apiece.

Jackson also notched six blocks.

Nebraska (16-0) hosts No. 13 Penn State at 7 p.m. Saturday. The match will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network.
