No. 2 Nebraska volleyball defeats No. 10 Purdue in nail-biter at the Bob

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Nebraska volleyball beat back the Boilermakers on Friday night in a top-10 matchup in Lincoln.
The No. 2 Huskers defeated the No. 10 Purdue 25-22, 22-25, 23-25, 25-22, 17-15 at the Bob Devaney Center.
The match was close from start to finish, with several lead changes.
The Boilermakers outhit the Huskers .311% to .242%, but their 19 services errors cost them.
Merritt Beason led Nebraska with 22 kills, followed by Harper Murray with 17. Andi Jackson added 14, and Rebekah Allick had 10.
On defense, Bergen Reilly led in digs with 17. Lexi Rodriguez recorded 12.
Nebraska improves to 15-1 on the season.
The Huskers will host Rutgers on Saturday. The game starts at 7 p.m. and will be streamed on Big Ten Plus.
