No. 6 Nebraska wrestling falls at home to No. 1 Penn State

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska wrestling fell to Penn State 31-7 on Friday night.

The Huskers drew a record-setting crowd at the Devaney Center, bringing in 6,736 fans.

Nebraska’s No. 16 Jacob Van Dee pulled off a 14-7 upset over No. 5 Braeden Davis at 133 lbs.

Husker senior No. 4 Ridge Lovett had the win of the night at 149 lbs., taking down No. 2 Shayne Van Ness by major decision 9-2.

Nebraska will be back on the mat next Friday against Michigan.
