No bond for man accused in Lexington slaying

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A man accused in a deadly shooting outside a Lexington trailer home made his first court appearance Monday.

Dawson County Judge Jeffrey Wightman ordered Aristh Rodriguez Linares, 33, to be held without bond.

He is charged with first-degree murder, use of a firearm to commit a felony and unlawful discharge of a firearm.

Michael Farina came to Rodriguez Linares’ trailer on Jan. 21, and the two got into an argument, police said.

A witness told police that they heard gunshots and then saw Rodriguez Linares holding a gun, according to court documents.

Officers said they found Farina dead inside a vehicle that had multiple bullet holes.

Rodriguez Linares is due back in court on Feb. 6.
