Lincoln Police Chief Jim Peschong and Lancaster County Attorney Joe Kelly held a press conference this morning to give updates on a sexual assault complaint that originated at the home of Husker football players.

The complaint was filed on Nov. 15th when a 20-year-old woman claimed she was sexually assaulted.

LPD Chief Peschong announced that the investigation is complete and no arrests have been made.

Lancaster County Attorney Joe Kelly said charges weren’t filed because there is not enough evidence to prove a sexual assault occurred.

We’ll have more tonight on the Channel 8 Eyewitness News at 11.

Statement from University Athletic Director Keith Mann:

"We are aware of this morning’s announcement by the Lincoln Police
Department and the Lancaster County Attorney. There is no change in the
status of any student-athletes. We will continue to follow University
policies."
