No in-person classes at UNL on Friday due to Nebraska-Illinois game

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Students at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln will have ample time Friday to prepare for Nebraska football’s game against Illinois.
UNL announcing that Friday is an “instructional continuity day” to accommodate Nebraska’s first-ranked matchup inside Memorial Stadium since 2013.
That means classes are still a go but they will not be in person.
Students are asked to check for messages from their instructors on class plans. Only essential employees will be on campus that day.
Nebraska is hosting No. 24 Illinois, setting up a chance for the Huskers to claim their first ranked victory since 2016.
