No one injured after train hits vehicle in Norfolk
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – No one was injured Thursday morning after a train crashed into a car in Norfolk.
Around 8:15 a.m., Norfolk Police received a report of a minor crash near Seventh Street and Madison Avenue.
The two vehicles had pulled off the roadway near the railroad tracks, according to police.
As the drivers exchanged information, a southbound train started approaching, police said.
One of the drivers could not find their keys to move the vehicle.
The train crashed into the vehicle, pushing it into the other car, according to police.
The train stopped after the crash and blocked the road for about 40 minutes.
