Norfolk Police Department cites 15-year-old after video shows him with realistic BB gun

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Norfolk Police Department cited a 15-year-old male Monday after a video showed him pointing a handgun at another boy.

The police department said in a press release that they learned of the video as it was circulating social media.

After an investigation, officers said the firearm was a realistic looking “Glock” BB gun.

The gun was taken and the 15-year-old was cited for disturbing the peace, minor in possession of a nicotine device, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Law enforcement said the boy was released to his parents.
