Norris PPD update: Wind likely to blame for power outage

The power outages started around 3:50 a.m. and impacted over 1,000 customers.

LINCOLN, Neb (KLKN) – A representative with the Norris PPD says wind is likely to blame for a switch breaking early Tuesday morning. That switch is responsible for opening and closing power to nearby areas.

The power outages started around 3:50 a.m. and impacted over 1,000 customers. Crews say mostly everyone was restored by 5:48 a.m.
