North Dakota woman found with 950 suspected fentanyl pills near Kearney

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska troopers seized nearly 1,000 suspected fentanyl pills near Kearney late Monday night.
Just after 9 p.m., a trooper pulled up to a Chrysler 200 that was parked on the shoulder of Interstate 80 near Gibbon.
The trooper saw drug-related items in plain view inside the vehicle, the Nebraska State Patrol said.
The driver, 30-year-old Brittany Beeter of Fargo, North Dakota, had a bag containing 950 suspected fentanyl pills, according to the patrol.
A small amount of meth and several drug-related items were also found, the patrol said.
Beeter was arrested on suspicion of possessing an extremely hazardous substance, possession with intent to deliver, possession of meth, imitation of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
She was lodged in the Buffalo County Jail.
