Northeast Nebraska vandal destroyed toilet, tore sink off wall in park bathroom

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Authorities are searching for the person who went on a rampage in a park’s bathroom in northeast Nebraska.
The Knox County Sheriff’s Office said the vandalism was reported on June 12 at the city park in Wausa, which is about 35 miles north of Norfolk.
Investigators think someone went into the men’s bathroom overnight and busted the toilet. They also tore the sink and paper towel dispenser off the wall.
Maintenance workers stumbled upon the mess in the morning, the sheriff’s office said.
The amount of damage is unknown, and anyone with information is asked to call the Knox County Sheriff’s Office at 402-288-4261.
