NSP: 1 person critically injured in car vs. semi crash

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Authorities say one person was critically injured after a semi vs. car crash in north Lincoln.

The crash happened around 12:30 p.m. near the 56th St. exit in Lincoln.

The Nebraska State Patrol said the preliminary investigation indicates a SUV went through a red light and struck the semi.

One woman was pulled from the SUV and taken to the hospital in critical condition, according to the patrol.

NSP says traffic will be blocked while the investigation continues.
