GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska State Patrol arrested an Arizona man after finding 33 pounds of methamphetamine during a traffic stop on I-80 in Hamilton County.

A trooper performed the traffic stop on Thursday near mile marker 338. During the traffic stop the trooper became suspicious of criminal activity.

The trooper searched the vehicle and found 33 pounds of methamphetamine in a duffle back located in the trunk.

NSP arrested 39-year-old Jared Cain, of Phoenix, Az. for possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute and no drug tax stamp.
