LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A California woman was arrested after authorities say she led officers on a high-speed pursuit on Interstate 80.
The Nebraska State Patrol says the pursuit began around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday near York.
A trooper attempted to stop the driver, identified as 25-year-old Ingrid Baires-Duran of Los Angeles, but she sped off, the patrol said.
The pursuit reportedly reached speeds of more than 115 miles per hour.
Baires-Duran was ultimately arrested on numerous charges after she came to a stop in the parking lot of a gas station near the Grand Island/Hastings interchange.
