Numerous drugs found in Fairbury home

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office (JSO) searched Devon Kagy’s home finding numerous drugs while looking for a weapon involved in an incident the evening before.
The Beatrice Police Department and JSO had been in contact regarding an incident involving Kagy that occurred Wednesday night in Beatrice.
Beatrice Police obtained an arrest warrant for Kagy, 28, on 2 counts of protection order violation and terroristic threats on Feb. 10.
Due to the possibility of a weapon and the potential threat to law enforcement, JSO also obtained a search warrant for Kagy’s residence at 1128 B Street.
As law enforcement prepared to serve the warrant, deputies noticed Kagy leaving the residence in his vehicle.
Deputies eventually pulled Kagy over at 13th and C Street where he was arrested and taken to the Gage County Jail.
In the home, officers found methamphetamine, marijuana, THC edibles, THC wax, psilocybin mushrooms, and drug-related items including distribution material.
JSO says an arrest warrant will now be sought for Kagy in relation to the drugs found in his residence.
