Nurse Awakens From Mysterious Coma After A Week

We have some good news to report about a Lincoln woman who fell into a mysterious coma last week. This morning she woke up.

On Thursday we told you the story of 31 year old Heather Luff who went to bed with a headache on Friday May 8 and eventually fell into a coma.

After numerous tests, doctors believe she contracted viral encephalitis, an acute infection and inflamation of the brain.

Heather came out of her coma early this morning, almost one week to the minute from when she fell into it last week.
