Officers investigating several overnight armed robberies at Lincoln gas stations

LPD believes the three robberies are connected.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – UPDATE: Four parties were taken into custody by the Omaha Police Department following an overnight robbery at the Quik Trip at 5005 South 108th Street in Omaha, according to police.

The investigation into the Lincoln robberies is still ongoing and investigators plan to follow up with OPD.

There have been no arrests made in connection with the Lincoln robberies at this time and there is no ongoing threat to public safety, Lincoln Police say.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Three gas stations across Lincoln reported armed robberies late Monday night and early Tuesday morning, and Lincoln Police believe they are all connected.

The first call came in just before midnight Monday to Kwik Shop at 4400 Cornhusker Highway. Police say the suspect entered the store with a gun and robbed an unknown amount of cash.

Approximately four minutes later, LPD was dispatched to Casey’s at 3500 N 48th St. Police say the suspect entered the store, discharged a round from his gun, struck the clerk in the face and stole an unknown amount of cash. The clerk was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The third call came in about an hour later around 1 a.m. to Kwik Shop at 2710 W St. LPD says the suspect entered, displayed a handgun, assaulted a customer and stole money from both the customer and the store.

The clerk was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and the customer was treated at the scene, according to police.

LPD says the description of the suspect matches at all three robberies and officers believe they are connected. No arrests have been made.
